Who We Are
Fiona Jones & Jon Ecklund
Fiona Jones is the owner of Dream Out Loud and brings over 30 years experience as an actor, writer and producer to her work. As a much sought after voice-over professional, Fiona has recorded more than a thousand commercials, industrials, promos and animation projects. National campaigns include Allstate, Audi, Vanguard, Atlantis, ZocDoc, and Herbal Essences.
She was a founding partner of manhattantheatresource in New York City (www.theatresource.org), stewarding the arts service and producing organization through 12 seasons. Fiona is also the founder of EstroGenius, an annual celebration of under-served voices, soon to enjoy its 25th season in NYC. She was also a producing partner on the Tony nominated Broadway production of August Wilson’s Radio Golf. In addition to her acting and producing experience, Fiona worked for several years as a Casting Associate at the regional powerhouse C&J Casting.
Fiona holds a BFA Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin, completed a term at Oxford UK and holds an MFA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jon Ecklund is the Producing Director of Dream Out Loud Media and has over 30 years of onstage experience in prestigious venues across the U.S. and abroad, including Naked Angels and The Roundabout Theatre Company in New York, The Alexandrinsky Theatre in Russia, and The Yale Repertory Theatre in Connecticut. A former Jean Cocteau Classical Repertory Company member, he has also spent multiple seasons at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Jon studied acting with renowned teachers at the Yale School of Drama and HB Studios in New York. Onscreen, he has worked with directors like Errol Morris and Joel Schumacher. He co-founded the Yale Cabaret Hollywood and has been a casting session director for various offices including Ross Lacey in Los Angeles and C&J Casting in Charlotte. He holds a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama, with teaching credits at several institutions and private coaching in multiple cities.
